I’m Hugh, a passionate sound engineer specializing in recording, mixing and producing, with part of my background being in live sound. My core focus is on capturing the raw energy of every performance.
I’ve spent many years on both sides of the desk in both live and studio environments gaining lots of experience aiding my understanding in how to best navigate and capture a sound.
For me, it’s not just about the technical side of things— it’s about preserving moments of creative expression.
I have been studying Commercial Music at Bath Spa University for the past 3 years and got my hands stuck into everything. I am fluent in Pro Tools and Logic, and I’m confident to go into any studio, venue or any technical setting and we can make some great sounds together. Whether you need someone to set mics and hit record or be with you from beginning to end, your project and your vision is my priority.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of artists and projects, from intimate acoustic sessions to full-band productions, live recordings to studio albums. My goal is always the same: to create a sound that feels true, natural, and vibrant. I believe that every performance tells a story, and my job is to make sure that story is heard in its purest form..
